A nip and tuck contest on Saturday vs Lisburn was won, seeing us book our ticket to the Big Dance
After winning the toss and electing to bowl, Jonesy’s men restricted Lisburn to 188
Lisburn pro Faiz Fazal making a magnificent 100, very nearly carrying his bat
GK the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, but every bowler was tight and disciplined in their efforts
Ross got the reply off to a quick start with 4s and 6s, but Lisburn induced a slight wobble around the 70 run mark with 3 quick wickets
Player of the match GK and skipper Jones steadied the ship with a century partnership, before Keith hit a few lusty blows to get the team over the line
Winners by 6 wickets
See you all at Comber on August 5th where it’ll be an East Belfast Showdown with CSNI prevailing in the other semi
On the Buses
We have had good interest shown in the Bus for Pembroke, between 45 & 50 people currently expressing their interest which is fantastic support
Tickets will be £10 per person
We will post complete details when we have them
If you didn’t notify us of your interest, but would now like to get on the Bus get in touch asap
We can get an even bigger bus. The more the merrier in our book!
